Our face is one of the most expressive features of our body. We reveal both emotions and personality through our facial expressions, but when you can't see half of a face due to a mask, our facial canvas shrinks. How are we supposed to show others how we think or feel through our facial expressions if they can't even see it?
I wanted to demonstrate the emphasis on the "eyes" that has come to light during the COVID-19 pandemic. The phrase "the eyes are the window to the soul" has never been more applicable; our eyes are the only part of our facial expression that others are able to understand and, quite frankly, see at this time, so we must make it count!
